Sullivans Cove French Oak Second Fill Tasmanian Whisky 700ml 49.3%

French Oak Second Fill TD0078 was distilled in February of 2006 and decanted in September of last year for a maturation of Fifteen years, Six months, in a single, 300L French oak ex-Tawny cask previously filled with an older batch of Sullivans Cove Single Malt Whisky.

Unlike our core range French Oak Single Cask, which is aged in ex-tawny (Australian port-style fortified wine) casks, this single cask whisky is aged in French oak casks previously used to mature an earlier batch of Sullivans Cove French Oak. Our Second Fill whiskies require a truly exceptional cask, showcasing the rich spice from the French oak timber and allowing Sullivans Cove’s unique spirit character to shine through.
