This is the distilleries second true “Paddock to Bottle”release, having used their very own Joadja barley (harvested in December 2018) to produce the “New Make Spirit”. “We strongly believe that Whisky should reflect the land on which the barley is grown and where the water is sourced”.
Being one of only a handful of Single Malt Whisky distilleries in the world who grow their own barley and have access to pristine spring water on site sets us apart when considering where our unique flavours are developed. Add this to their hand-picked ex-Sherry barrels for maturing spirit and having the ingredients for a unique Australian Single Malt Whisky. Joadja Distillery is arguably one of the most authentic Australian whiskies around.
